Well, okay, I will say this: If you haven’t read at least some of the comics, DO. They’re a nice notch darker than the TV shows — They begin with the Tick escaping a mental ward out of boredom, and like a true Regan-era schizo, wandering into The City and deciding to take over as its protector.

Hey, I can’t help it. It’s the way he brushes off those throwing-stars…
