I love always having long weekends.

That is, I love how I get 8 hours’ more weekend-time than I used to. ;)

This weekend, besides the usual administrative gunk and writing every day (yaaaaay!) and rockin’ the sl33p th1ng, I did a little something I’ve been meaning to knock off: A writeup on Everything2 for “Everyman Sleep Schedule“.

It’s a significantly better writeup than Uberman got, but seven years and not thinking that you’re just being funny about something that everybody else must already know about changes your writing style a little.

Man, E2 nodes are hard. And have gotten significantly harder to write since seven years ago, too. It’s made for much better nodes, and it’s certainly not stopped being fun. One of my favorite parts is making links to things which are related to their link title in off-kilter ways — sorta like my boy does the links in his blog on Leave it To Jesus. The practice was probably not either of our ideas, however. ;)  I do miss being able to create more nodes, however, and worrying a little less about whether they’d be well-received.  Oh well.
On that note, I’ve done enough freaking writing for one Sunday! And — watch out, because this is a known sign of the Apocalypse — I have company. Have a good one!
