A short skirt and a loooonnnnng jacket
(Okay, without the short skirt, at least so far.)
I really just wanted to note this minor "Intuition Diet squee":
I have a suit-jacket that I bought (secondhand, of course) a while ago, that instantly became my favorite. It’s black, kinda long, and has tails — real tails! It rides the line between "work-appropriate" and "geek freaky", which is exactly where I like my work clothes to be.
Long story short(ish), I stopped being able to button this jacket about six months ago, though it was quite roomy when I bought it. Sad sad sad. And since I *had* to leave it open, after some denial, I eventually stopped wearing it.
This morning, mostly out of clean clothes, I grabbed it, figuring it open was better than nothing, considering my options.
Except…I can button it closed again! It’s not loose, but it’s certainly not tight anymore (I would know; I’m quite claustrophobic about clothes, and can’t wear anything even a little tight around my midsection or neck).
That’s my first real proof that this "dots" thing might actually be working! w00000t!
