Fasting to Prevent Jet-Lag? Also the world’s prettiest pencils.

Via BoingBoing: Fasting for 16 hours may reset your body’s circadian clock, preventing jet-lag.

Neato.

Napping for a day (Uberman-style) has been said to reset clocks too; did anybody ever test if this was helpful for jet-lag? I would suspect that being on Uberman might make you impervious to jet-lag, or much more resilient to it, but I bet jet travel while adapting isn’t exactly fun. *eek*

BUT, maybe a 16-hour fast before beginning a polyphasic adaptation would be useful.
Somebody should try that!
